This season, the forty four year old Pennsylvania native overcame the odds to win a spot at the prestigious late-night poker table. Arnold Thimons picked two-time main event champion Johnny Chan and four-time world series of poker bracelet winner Daniel Negreanu, together with poker pros Mike Matusow, Jennifer Tilly and Phil Laak as the players he wanted to face in the event. The champion will take home $120,000. NBC placed two online poker qualifiers into Poker After Dark in the previous seasons of the PAD, but neither online qualifier was able to win against the six-handed poker tournament.
